Recently, I took a series of images of my little man.  They are simple photos I took in front of two different walls in my house, and a couple he was on my bed.  My goal was to capture his different expressions in the most simplistic way.  His eyes draw you in and do all the talking.

These are probably my most favorite images I’ve ever taken of him.  His personality shines through and the results are simply stunning.  I love the way these have turned out.

Fall Mini Session booking has begun! Mini sessions are a great way to update your family photographs (which is especially useful for the holiday season coming up).  First, the details:

Price? $125
What’s included?
– 1/2 hour session
– 5 digital images with print release
– an online gallery to view your images and purchase additional products at your desire
– 15% off any additional prints, digitals, or products purchased

10/25/2014 at Lake Benson Park in Garner, NC
How do I book? contact me here or e-mail me at info@laurynalisaphotography.com to book your time slot!

There are only FOUR (4) time slots for each day from 3:45-6:30.  Mini sessions are booked on a first come first serve basis! Due to the extremely limited availability, the $125 session fee is due in full as a retainer upon booking your date and time. Your date and time are not considered booked until your retainer is paid.

Lake Benson Maternity Session | Raleigh NC Maternity Photographer

This mother to be might look a little familiar.  I had met Jennifer when I shot a lifestyle family session for her and her beautiful family!  They are expecting baby #2 and I’m so happy I had the opportunity to photograph the beautiful mother to be.

We met at Lake Benson Park for a gorgeous golden hour session.  Even though it was 8pm, it was HOT out!  I give her big props for being very pregnant but still ROCKING IT in the heat. She looked so stunning in her photographs.  I hope you enjoy!

Brittany Maternity Session | Raleigh NC Maternity Photographer

On a warm sunny evening in June I had the chance to photograph a beautiful Mother and Father to be.  The location was perfect and the light was amazing.  There is nothing better than that golden hour sun shining so warm through the trees.  The results speak for themselves.  There is nothing more beautiful.

Kinnebrew Family | Raleigh NC Lifestyle Family Photographer

I absolutely love when clients come to me with a fun idea for their photography session.  So of course I was so excited when Jennifer said she wanted to have her little man paint a canvas for his room during our session!  It was so much fun and he did such a good job with the painting.  Anthony was such a happy and energetic little boy.  There was lots of laughs and silliness throughout the whole session, you can just tell they are such a fun-loving family!

Mommy is expecting baby #2 soon and I hope to get the chance to photograph them all again in the future!  🙂

One Year Cake Smash Session! | Raleigh NC Child Photographer

Back in March I was introduced to a wonderful family.  After doing an in home lifestyle session for them, they hired me to photograph such an important milestone in their little ones life, her one year photographs!  They are such a beautiful family and Ava is truly a joy to capture.  Her little smile could brighten anyones day!  I’m so lucky for clients like them!

So little miss Ava turned the big ONE at the end of May and boy did we have fun getting messy!  We met up at Lake Benson park for a cute out door cake smash session.  She looked so adorable in her pink tutu and pearls and as much as she was trying to be a lady at first, she finally couldn’t resist the delicious cake any longer and dug right in.  Hope you enjoy these photographs as much as I do!

Week 19 – Project 52 | Raleigh NC Family Photographer

So this week for my project 52 (here’s week 18 in case you missed it) I decided to try something fun.  These two images were taken using a technique called “freelensing”.  Pretty much, you take your lens off and hold it slightly away from your camera, which throws off the focal plane.  It gives a pretty cool effect.  Of course I used my little man as my test subject and of course he was playing with his cars! 🙂

Week 18 – Project 52 | Raleigh NC lifestyle family photographer

We had what was probably one of the best family day’s we’ve had in a while yesterday.  At around noon we decided to take a spontaneous trip to Wrightsville beach.  The weather was perfect and we had so much fun.  After we walked around downtown Wilmington and had some yummy food.  Brayden was happy as can be all day, it was relaxing, fun, and just an all around great day!

I didn’t take many pictures as I wanted to enjoy the day with my family, but I did catch this one shot that I am in love with.  My cool little dude looking at the boats…

…and yes that is 100% real sun flare! 🙂

Johnson Family | Raleigh NC Lifestyle Family Photographer

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Johnson family.  We got together one Sunday in April for a fun lifestyle family session!  Their son, Avery, is 6 months old and was such a cutie pie with big beautiful blue eyes.  He knew how to work the camera!  It was a pleasure capturing all the fun little moments that they share every day.

Mom and dad are both NC State Alumni (go Wolfpack!) so of course we had to get some pictures in their State gear!

I hope I get to photograph this adorable and sweet family again in the future!
